
2nd Shift - Production Supervisor

- Oversee Production Operations: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production operations on the 2nd shift at our facility. This includes ensuring that production targets are met, monitoring equipment and processes, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: It is the Production Supervisor's responsibility to ensure that all food products are produced in compliance with company and industry quality and safety standards. This includes conducting regular quality checks, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any non-compliance issues.
- Train and Supervise Production Staff: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for training and supervising production staff, including machine operators, line workers, and other team members. This includes providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure that all staff are performing their tasks effectively.
- Create Production Schedules: The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Production Manager to create and maintain production schedules that optimize efficiency and meet production targets. This may involve adjusting schedules based on changing production demands or equipment availability.
- Monitor Inventory and Supplies: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that all necessary supplies and materials are available for production. This includes working with the purchasing team to order supplies as needed to prevent any delays in production.
- Maintain Production Records: It is the Production Supervisor's responsibility to maintain accurate production records, including production numbers, quality control data, and any other relevant information. These records may be used for performance evaluations, forecasting, and other business purposes.
- Identify and Implement Process Improvements: The Production Supervisor will be expected to identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the production team to implement these changes. This may involve analyzing data, collecting feedback from staff, and making recommendations for more efficient production methods.

Experience In A Manufacturing Environment: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Food Industry. This Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of Production Processes And Safety Protocols.
Knowledge Of Production Systems And Procedures: A Successful Production Supervisor Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Production Systems And Procedures, Such As Six Sigma Or Lean Manufacturing. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Identify Areas For Improvement And Implement Efficient Production Processes.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Production Environment, Especially In A Supervisory Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Efficiently With Both Their Team And Management.
