- Oversee the FSQA activities on the 2nd shift, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train a team of FSQA technicians to ensure proper execution of food safety and quality protocols.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential food safety and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any food safety or quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to food safety and quality, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all FSQA documentation and records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
- Communicate any changes in regulations or industry standards to the FSQA team and implement necessary updates.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints related to food safety and quality, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Serve as a point of contact for any FSQA related inquiries or concerns from other departments or external parties.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Motivate and support the FSQA team to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the FSQA team.
- Participate in regular meetings with management to provide updates on FSQA activities and discuss any potential issues.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and promote a positive image of Tyson Foods in the food industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Microbiology, Or A Related Field.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Food Manufacturing Facility, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations, Including Haccp, Fsma, And Gmps.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Food Safety Protocols And Procedures.
