- Manage customer credit and collections processes, including reviewing credit applications, setting credit limits, and monitoring customer payment patterns.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers by proactively contacting them for outstanding balances and resolving any billing issues.
- Analyze customer credit data and make recommendations for credit limit adjustments and credit risk evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their payment behaviors and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and legal, to resolve any credit or collections issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, payment history, and collection activities.
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging and provide recommendations for improving cash flow and reducing delinquency.
- Identify and escalate potential collection risks and work with management to develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on industry credit trends and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of credit and collections policies and procedures.
- Conduct credit analysis for new and existing customers and make credit decisions based on company guidelines.
- Collaborate with the finance team to generate accurate and timely reporting on credit and collections metrics.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed to support the finance team and company growth.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
2-3 Years Of Experience In Credit And Collections, Preferably In A Technology Or Saas Company.
Strong Understanding Of Credit And Collections Principles And Practices, Including Credit Risk Analysis And Collections Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Maintain Positive Relationships With Customers And Internal Stakeholders.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Experience Working With Financial Software And Systems, Such As Salesforce Or Netsuite.
