- Develop and implement the data strategy for Viator, in alignment with TripAdvisor's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of data professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and finance, to identify data needs and prioritize projects.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth and improvement within the Viator business.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of data, ensuring it is easily accessible and usable for stakeholders.
- Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate data performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics, incorporating new techniques and methodologies into the Viator data strategy.
10+ Years Of Experience In Data Analytics And Management, Preferably In The Travel Or E-Commerce Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Data Strategy And Delivering Impactful Insights To Support Business Decisions.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Data Professionals, Including Data Scientists And Analysts.
Extensive Knowledge Of Data Architecture, Infrastructure, And Technologies, Such As Sql, Hadoop, And Cloud Computing.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Concepts To A Non-Technical Audience.
