As a Legal Counsel focused on media, you will play a crucial role in supporting our media and advertising initiatives and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.   1. Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on media and advertising initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on relevant media laws and regulations to ensure the company's practices are in line with industry standards.
  3. Draft and review contracts, licenses, and other legal documents related to media and advertising, including those with third-party vendors and partners.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and business development, to provide legal support and advice on media-related matters.
  5. Advise on intellectual property matters related to media, including copyright and trademark issues.
  6. Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to address complex legal issues related to media and advertising.
  7. Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to media and advertising compliance.
  8. Monitor and track changes in media laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact or changes to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Conduct internal trainings and presentations to educate employees on media-related legal matters.
  10. Assist in resolving legal disputes and manage litigation related to media and advertising.
  11. Ensure the protection of the company's reputation and brand by proactively identifying and addressing potential legal risks related to media and advertising.
  12. Participate in industry events and conferences to stay informed about industry developments and best practices related to media law.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to provide support on various legal matters as needed.
  14. Maintain confidentiality in all legal and company matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills

  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Media Law

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws Related To Media, Including Intellectual Property, Defamation, And Privacy

  • Experience In The Travel Or Hospitality Industry Preferred
