Job Description

At Trimble, we are looking for a top-notch Technical Training Specialist to join our team and help our employees stay ahead of the curve in terms of technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing and delivering complex technical training programs, have a passion for teaching, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs for internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of developing and delivering successful training programs. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, creative, and provides excellent customer service.Required qualifications for this position include:• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in technical training development and delivery.• Excellent organizational and communication skills.• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.• Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other related software.If you are a detail-oriented, motivated professional with a passion for teaching and a strong technical background, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal and external audiences.
  2. Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design concepts to create effective and engaging training materials and courses.
  3. Manage and maintain training materials, including technical documentation, presentations, and other digital assets.
  4. Monitor and assess the performance of trainees to ensure successful completion of courses.
  5. Keep up to date with the latest technology trends and developments and incorporate them into training programs as needed.
  6. Identify areas of improvement in existing training programs and implement changes as required.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs meet the needs of the organization.
  8. Stay current on all relevant industry trends and developments.
  9. Create and maintain accurate training records and reports.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to all trainees.
