  1. Oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for the company.
  2. Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and ensure the company remains in compliance.
  3. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.
  4. Manage tax audits and communicate with tax authorities.
  5. Analyze financial data to identify tax savings opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax information.
  7. Train and develop tax team members to ensure a high level of proficiency and knowledge.
  8. Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding tax implications of business decisions.
  9. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impacts.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants.
  11. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely.
  12. Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to management.
  13. Communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-tax professionals.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to tax planning and compliance.
  15. Ensure all tax processes and procedures are documented and adhered to.
  16. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations.
  17. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any tax-related issues.
  18. Act as a liaison between the company and tax authorities.
  19. Monitor and manage tax risk and exposure for the company.
  20. Uphold Trimble's values and culture, and serve as a role model for tax team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Cpa Certification Or Other Relevant Professional Certification.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Tax Accounting And Compliance.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Regulations.

  • Demonstrated Experience Managing A Team And Coordinating Tax Strategies Across Multiple Business Units.
