Systems Administrator, Cloud Services

Trimble is looking for a Systems Administrator, Cloud Services to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced professional who can hit the ground running.As a Systems Administrator, Cloud Services, you will have the opportunity to work with our cross-functional teams to ensure a reliable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will also be responsible for managing cloud services for our customers, as well as supporting other IT activities.To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of technical aptitude and strong customer service skills. You must have an in-depth understanding of cloud computing technologies and be comfortable with scripting and automation tools. You will also need to have experience with virtualization, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix.We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently, as well as in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for technology and customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
2. Manage cloud services for our customers.
3. Support other IT activities.
4. Develop and implement scripting and automation tools.
5. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
6. Provide technical advice and assistance to customers.
7. Research and evaluate new technologies.
8. Work independently as well as in a team environment.
9. Maintain documentation and records related to system configurations and change management.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
