Software Test Architect

At Trimble, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Software Test Architect to join our team and lead our software testing efforts. We seek an individual who is passionate about developing and executing effective test plans and strategies.The Software Test Architect will have an in-depth understanding of software engineering and test automation and will be responsible for managing the overall software testing process. This includes evaluating existing test plans, developing new test plans, and developing and executing automated test scripts. The Software Test Architect will also work closely with stakeholders to ensure all software requirements are met and quality standards are adhered to.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or software testing. Additionally, the candidate should have advanced knowledge of test automation and scripting languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. They should also have experience with cloud-based testing tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Jenkins.We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, can think outside the box, and is able to work both independently and collaboratively. Our Software Test Architect should be organized, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to effectively communicate their ideas and solutions. Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate existing test plans and develop new test plans
2. Develop and execute automated test scripts
3. Lead software testing efforts
4. Ensure that all software requirements are met and quality standards are adhered to
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure success of the software testing process
6. Utilize cloud-based testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Jenkins
7. Provide problem-solving solutions to software testing issues
8. Monitor progress of software testing process and provide feedback
9. Document results of software testing process
10. Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in test automation and scripting languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript
