Job Description

At Trimble, we are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Manager to join our dynamic team as the SEC Reporting expert. This is a critical leadership role where you will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing key insights to senior management.   1. Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.
  2. Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
  3. Provide key insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of financial data and SEC reports.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of SEC rules and regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes or updates.
  5. Oversee the coordination and review of financial information from various departments to be included in SEC reports.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  7. Lead the implementation of new SEC reporting standards and processes.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  9. Review and analyze financial statements and disclosures for accuracy and completeness.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the SEC reporting process.
  11. Mentor and develop junior team members to support their growth and success.
  12. Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and address any questions or concerns related to SEC reporting.
  13. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  14. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's business and financial operations.
  15. Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and success.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Sec Reporting: A Senior Manager, Sec Reporting Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Sec Regulations And Reporting Requirements. This Includes Experience With Filing Forms Such As 10-K, 10-Q, And 8-K, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of Us Gaap And Ifrs.

  • Strong Technical Accounting Skills: The Senior Manager, Sec Reporting Should Possess Strong Technical Accounting Skills, Including Knowledge Of Complex Accounting Issues Such As Revenue Recognition, Stock-Based Compensation, And Business Combinations. This Is Important For Accurately Preparing Financial Statements And Disclosures In Accordance With Gaap And Sec Guidelines.

  • Leadership And Team Management: A Successful Senior Manager, Sec Reporting Must Have Experience Leading And Managing A Team. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Work, Provide Guidance And Support, And Ensure Deadlines Are Met. Strong Communication Skills Are Also Necessary For Effectively Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: The Senior Manager, Sec Reporting Is Responsible For Ensuring The Accuracy And Completeness Of All Financial Disclosures And Filings. This Requires A Meticulous Attention To Detail And The Ability To Review And Analyze Financial Data To Identify Potential Errors Or Inconsistencies.

  • Experience With Sec Filings Software: Proficiency With Sec Filing Software, Such As Edgar Online, Is Essential For A Senior Manager, Sec Reporting. This Includes The Ability To Navigate And Prepare Financial Statements And Disclosures In These Platforms, As Well As Knowledge Of Xbrl Tagging Requirements.
