In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our frontend applications.   1. Design and develop frontend applications to improve productivity and efficiency in various industries.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for frontend development.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in frontend technologies, and incorporate them into our development processes.
  5. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug frontend applications to identify and resolve issues.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation for frontend applications.
  8. Work closely with product managers and designers to ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing frontend experience.
  9. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend functionalities.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve frontend performance and user experience.
  11. Lead and participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  12. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  13. Take ownership of projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  14. Proactively identify and suggest improvements for processes, tools, and technologies to enhance frontend development.
  15. Uphold and promote a positive and collaborative work culture within the team and across the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Frontend Development: A Lead Software Engineer At Trimble Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Frontend Technologies Such As Html, Css, And Javascript. They Should Also Have Experience With Popular Frontend Frameworks Like React, Angular, Or Vue.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Lead Software Engineer, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Frontend Developers. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, As Well As The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members Towards A Common Goal.

  • Experience With Agile Methodologies: Trimble Follows An Agile Development Process, So It Is Important For The Lead Software Engineer To Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. This Includes Understanding The Principles Of Agile, As Well As Being Able To Effectively Plan, Prioritize, And Deliver Software In An Iterative Manner.

  • Proficiency In Software Design And Architecture: The Lead Software Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Design Principles And Be Able To Create Scalable And Maintainable Frontend Architectures. They Should Also Be Able To Write Clean, Efficient, And Reusable Code.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field: Trimble Values Education And Typically Requires A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field For A Lead Software Engineer Position. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Computer Science Concepts And Principles, Which Are Essential For Success In This Role.
