  1. Design and develop AS400 applications to meet the business requirements of our clients.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of AS400 developers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
  4. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot application issues to ensure system stability and performance.
  6. Keep up-to-date with emerging AS400 technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on progress.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for all AS400 applications and processes.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  10. Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on project planning and strategy.
  11. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  12. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
  13. Identify and address technical debt to maintain a healthy codebase.
  14. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues in a timely manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve development processes.
