
Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineering Intern
As a Guidance, Navigation & Controls (GN&C) Engineering Intern at Trimble, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of an innovative team that is revolutionizing the field of GN&C. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for GN&C who is eager to learn and expand their skillset. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing GN&C solutions for a variety of projects. You will work closely with our experienced GN&C engineers to gain hands-on experience in GN&C design and implementation. You will also be exposed to the latest GN&C technologies, including inertial navigation systems, attitude determination and control systems, vision-aided navigation, and more.Required qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field. Experience in GN&C systems design, implementation, and testing is highly desired, but not required. Additionally, knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and/or Python is a plus.We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is excited to learn and develop their skills in GN&C. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement GN&C solutions for various projects.
- Work closely with experienced GN&C engineers to gain hands-on experience in GN&C design and implementation.
- Become familiar with the latest GN&C technologies, including inertial navigation systems, attitude determination and control systems, vision-aided navigation, etc.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and/or Python to complete tasks.
- Maintain a high level of precision and accuracy in all work.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other team members.
- Remain organized and detail-oriented when completing tasks.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
