Job Description

Trimble is seeking a highly talented and motivated Guidance, Navigation & Controls (GNC) Engineering Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a world-class engineering team on the development of guidance, navigation, and control systems. Our ideal candidate is a creative and technically-minded engineer who is driven to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible.To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for GNC and strong technical skills. You should be able to think critically and creatively to develop and test GNC algorithms, and be comfortable working with a variety of software and hardware development tools. A strong understanding of mathematics and physics is also necessary.This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated engineer to join a highly innovative and successful organization. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and test GNC algorithms
  2. Utilize software and hardware development tools
  3. Work with a world-class engineering team to develop guidance, navigation, and control systems
  4. Innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible
  5. Use mathematics and physics to create solutions
  6. Collaborate with other departments
  7. Research new technologies and techniques
  8. Troubleshoot technical issues

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Guidance

  • Navigation And Control (Gn&C) Theory

  • Proficiency In Matlab And/Or Simulink

  • Ability To Analyze And Design System Architectures For Gn&C Systems

  • Knowledge Of Embedded Systems And Real-Time Operating Systems

  • Familiarity With Inertial Sensors
