
GNC Engineer - State Estimation
Trimble is looking for a self-motivated GNC Engineer - State Estimation to join our team. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about learning and growing in the field of engineering and state estimation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in guidance, navigation and control (GNC) systems and state estimation.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field. In addition, they must have at least 3 years of experience in designing and developing GNC systems and state estimation algorithms. Experience with software development in C/C++, Python, Matlab, and/or Simulink is a plus.The GNC Engineer - State Estimation will play a critical role in the research, design, and development of new and existing GNC and state estimation systems. Responsibilities:
- Research and develop new and existing GNC and state estimation systems.
- Design and develop GNC systems and state estimation algorithms.
- Develop software using programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Matlab, and Simulink.
- Troubleshoot and debug GNC systems and state estimation algorithms.
- Collaborate with other engineers and design teams to ensure successful implementation of GNC systems and state estimation algorithms.
- Analyze and interpret data from GNC systems and state estimation algorithms.
- Create reports and documentation for GNC systems and state estimation algorithms.
- Ensure GNC systems and state estimation algorithms are meeting project requirements and industry standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GNC and state estimation technologies.
