Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced GNC Engineer - State Estimation to join Trimble's Navigation Division. This individual will work with a team of engineers to develop and design state estimation algorithms for autonomous navigation applications.In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing algorithms to accurately estimate the vehicle's position, velocity and attitude state. They will also be responsible for developing and optimizing software for an embedded navigation system.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of inertial sensors, Kalman filters, and state estimation algorithms. Additionally, they should have experience in embedded programming, control theory, and signal processing. Familiarity with embedded Linux and C/C++ programming is a must, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented engineers and work on cutting-edge autonomous navigation systems. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop algorithms to accurately estimate the vehicle's position, velocity, and attitude state.
  2. Design and develop software for an embedded navigation system.
  3. Optimize software for an embedded navigation system.
  4. Utilize inertial sensors, Kalman filters, and state estimation algorithms.
  5. Program embedded Linux and other programming languages such as C/C++.
  6. Solve complex problems related to autonomous navigation systems.
  7. Communicate effectively with other members of the team.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in autonomous navigation systems.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills
