- Manage and oversee the tender management process for Trimble's clients, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all tender activities.
- Utilize your expertise in the French market to optimize freight procurement processes and negotiate favorable rates and contracts for our clients.
- Conduct thorough analysis of transportation data and market trends to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including sales and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of procurement strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and other vendors, negotiating rates and contracts to achieve cost savings for Trimble's clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all procurement activities are in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for freight procurement, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, and make adjustments as needed to meet or exceed targets.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings, and implement new strategies and procedures as necessary.
- Actively participate in industry events and conferences to stay informed on the latest trends and developments in transportation and procurement.
- Mentor and train junior procurement team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Represent Trimble as a professional and knowledgeable expert in the field of freight procurement, building and maintaining a positive reputation in the industry.
Fluency In French: The Ability To Communicate Effectively In French Is Essential For This Role As It Involves Working With French-Speaking Clients And Vendors.
Extensive Knowledge Of Freight Procurement: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Freight Procurement Process, Including Tender Management, To Effectively Support Trimble's Clients.
Experience In Tender Management: Previous Experience In Managing Freight Tenders Is A Must For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With The Entire Tender Process, From Developing Bidding Documents To Evaluating Bids.
