Welcome to Trimble! We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Workday Systems and People Analytics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of our Workday systems and driving data-driven insights through our people analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR technology, extensive experience with Workday, and a passion for leveraging data to support our people and business objectives.   1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for Workday systems and people analytics to support the company's overall objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of Workday systems and people analytics.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to identify and address system and data needs.
  4. Utilize extensive knowledge of HR technology and Workday to provide guidance and recommendations on system enhancements and upgrades.
  5. Monitor and analyze data trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and to support data-driven decision making.
  6. Regularly communicate with stakeholders and provide updates on the status of Workday systems and people analytics initiatives.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the best use of Workday systems and tools.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to Workday systems and people analytics.
  9. Identify and implement data security measures to protect sensitive employee information within Workday systems.
  10. Train and support HR and other key stakeholders on Workday systems and people analytics, including best practices and system updates.
  11. Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR data and metrics.
  12. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Workday systems and people analytics processes.
  13. Act as a thought leader and champion for data-driven decision making within the organization.
  14. Assist with budgeting and resource planning for Workday systems and people analytics initiatives.
  15. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Workday Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Workday Systems, Including Implementation, Configuration, And Maintenance. They Should Be Familiar With The Full Suite Of Workday Products And Have A Deep Understanding Of Their Capabilities.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As A Director Of Workday Systems And People Analytics, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Analyzing And Interpreting Data To Inform Business Decisions. They Should Have A Strong Background In Data Analysis And Be Comfortable Working With Large Data Sets.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Director Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Analysts And System Administrators, So Experience In A Leadership Role Is Essential. They Should Have A Track Record Of Building And Developing High-Performing Teams And Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks And Manage Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Will Be Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr, Finance, And It Teams. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Implement And Maintain Workday Systems And People Analytics Solutions.

  • Knowledge Of Hr And People Analytics Best Practices: The Director Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Hr And People Analytics Best Practices And How They Can Be Applied Within The Workday System. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Current Trends And Innovations In The Field And Be Able To Identify Opportunities For Improvement And Optimization.
