
Data Scientist
Trimble is looking for a Data Scientist who is passionate about leveraging data to drive decisions and innovation. The successful candidate will be able to analyze large datasets, build models, and provide insights to enable data-driven decisions. They will also be covering a wide range of topics from data mining to visualization.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is excited about taking ownership of their projects and pushing them through to completion. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and have excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex concepts and analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required qualifications for this role include:• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.• Proficient in SQL, Python, and associated data analysis and visualization libraries such as pandas and matplotlib.• Experience with data engineering, ETL processes, and distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive projects forward.• Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of data-oriented business strategies.If you’re excited about the opportunity to join Trimble’s team of innovative data scientists, we look forward to hearing from you!
