Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We’re looking for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at TriCore Reference Laboratories. You’ll be an integral part of the laboratory staff, helping us to provide accurate testing for our patients. You should be a motivated, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and has a desire to learn and grow.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of an Associates degree in a medical laboratory science-related field and be certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus. A working knowledge of laboratory information systems is also beneficial.You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you’ll be interacting with both colleagues and patients. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Above all, you should be passionate about providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

1. Perform accurate laboratory testing and analysis for patients.
2. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
3. Follow safety protocols and quality control measures.
4. Document and record test results accurately.
5. Communicate test results to patients and other healthcare professionals.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any laboratory issues.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality.
8. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques.
9. Work independently and as part of a team.
10. Provide high-quality patient care.
