  1. Conduct risk assessments: Evaluate and analyze potential risks associated with ocean marine insurance policies to determine appropriate coverage and premiums.
  2. Make underwriting decisions: Utilize expertise and knowledge of ocean marine insurance to make sound underwriting decisions that protect both clients and the company.
  3. Review and approve policies: Review insurance policies and applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and make approvals or recommendations for necessary changes.
  4. Provide exceptional service: Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, providing accurate information, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Keep current with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and adapt underwriting practices accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other team members, including brokers, claims adjusters, and account managers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  7. Maintain accurate records: Keep accurate and detailed records of policies, underwriting decisions, and client interactions to maintain transparency and aid in future decision-making.
  8. Monitor and manage risk exposure: Monitor and manage risk exposure for the company by regularly reviewing and analyzing data and trends.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, brokers, and other industry professionals to promote the company and its services.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures: Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance in underwriting practices.
  11. Contribute to company growth: Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Industry Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Ocean Marine Hull And Liabilities Insurance.

  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.
