- Evaluate and underwrite risks for a portfolio of middle market accounts within the Private Equity sector.

- Work closely with brokers and clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve underwriting skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to company underwriting standards and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage the performance of assigned accounts, making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on risks, underwriting decisions, and other relevant information.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Mentor and coach junior underwriters to support their growth and development within the company.

Extensive Underwriting Experience: A Senior Middle Market Underwriter At Travelers Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Relevant Underwriting Experience In The Private Equity Property And Casualty (P&C) Market. This Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Underwriting And Managing Complex Accounts.
Strong Knowledge Of Private Equity Industry: Candidates Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Private Equity Industry And Its Unique Risks And Exposures. This Includes A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Investment Lifecycle, Fund Structures, And The Various Types Of Private Equity Transactions.
