- Review and analyze clients' existing safety policies and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and training to clients on best practices for operating and maintaining boiler and machinery systems, as well as emergency response and incident management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends related to boiler and machinery risk management, and incorporate this knowledge into client consultations.
- Collaborate with underwriters and claims professionals to assess risk exposures and determine appropriate insurance coverage for clients.
- Conduct on-site visits to clients' facilities to assess risk and provide recommendations for risk control improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to provide timely and accurate reporting on risk control activities and recommendations.
- Utilize risk assessment tools, data analytics, and other resources to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk control measures and make adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on boiler and machinery risk control for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all risk control activities and client interactions.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to expand knowledge and network with other professionals in the field.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards, in all work activities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of risk control processes and initiatives within the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Risk Control Consultant, Boiler And Machinery Position At Travelers Requires A Strong Technical Background In Engineering Or A Related Field. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of The Principles And Practices Involved In Risk Control And Loss Prevention.
Relevant Industry Experience: Travelers Is Looking For Candidates With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Boiler And Machinery Industry. This Experience Should Include A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Regulations, Safety Standards, And Best Practices.
