  1. Underwrite and manage a portfolio of middle market commercial accounts in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
  2. Review and analyze risk exposures to determine appropriate coverage and pricing for each account.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers to provide tailored insurance solutions and promote customer retention.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as claims and risk control, to effectively manage and mitigate risk for assigned accounts.
  6. Use strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively convey underwriting decisions and negotiate terms and conditions with clients and brokers.
  7. Conduct regular account reviews and make recommendations for coverage adjustments or enhancements based on changing risk profiles.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues raised by clients or brokers.
  9. Meet or exceed established production and profitability goals for assigned accounts.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve underwriting skills and knowledge.
  11. Collaborate with team members and leaders to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the underwriting department.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions and transactions.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Brokers.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Underwriting Or Account Management, Preferably In The Middle Market Segment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Products, Underwriting Guidelines, And Risk Assessment.

  • Proficiency In Using Underwriting Software And Data Analysis Tools To Make Informed Decisions And Recommendations.
