Job Description

The Loss Control Specialist at Travelers is a unique and challenging role that requires the ideal candidate to have strong analytical and problem solving skills. The Loss Control Specialist will work closely with colleagues and clients to identify, analyze, and reduce risk. The successful candidate should have the ability to think critically and effectively communicate their findings. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Safety, Engineering, or related discipline• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent oral and written communication• Demonstrated success in working with clients• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Sensitivity to customer needs and ability to work with people at all levels• Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Responsibilities of a Loss Control Specialist:

• Provide technical expertise to clients in identifying, analyzing, and reducing risk • Work with colleagues and clients to develop and implement risk management strategies • Research and analyze data to identify potential safety, health, and environmental risks • Monitor compliance with regulations and standards • Develop and implement risk management processes • Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures • Conduct safety inspections and investigations • Develop and present safety training to clients • Monitor and report on progress of risk management initiatives • Maintain records of risk management activities • Prepare reports and documents on risk management activities
