Responsibilities of a Loss Control Specialist:
• Provide technical expertise to clients in identifying, analyzing, and reducing risk • Work with colleagues and clients to develop and implement risk management strategies • Research and analyze data to identify potential safety, health, and environmental risks • Monitor compliance with regulations and standards • Develop and implement risk management processes • Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures • Conduct safety inspections and investigations • Develop and present safety training to clients • Monitor and report on progress of risk management initiatives • Maintain records of risk management activities • Prepare reports and documents on risk management activities
