  1. Process and evaluate claims related to contractors equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Communicate with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the claims process.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage and liability of claims.
  4. Analyze and review policy information to determine appropriate coverage and limits.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as adjusters and attorneys, to resolve claims in a timely manner.
  6. Document all claim activities and decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority level.
  8. Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in contractors equipment to effectively manage claims.
  10. Adhere to company guidelines and legal requirements, including handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims-related activities.
  13. Attend training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  15. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Knowledge Of Inland Marine Insurance: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Inland Marine Insurance Policies And Coverage, As Well As Industry Trends And Regulations.

  • Experience With Contractors Equipment Claims: Previous Experience Handling Claims For Contractors' Equipment Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of The Types Of Equipment Typically Covered And The Types Of Claims That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Claim Representative, The Candidate Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Both Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Policyholders, Contractors, And Other Insurance Professionals. This Requires Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Negotiate Fair Settlements.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Inland Marine Claim Representatives Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Situations And Make Sound Decisions Based On Policy Language And Coverage Guidelines. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Resolve Potential Coverage Issues And Discrepancies.
