- Conduct thorough investigations of property damage claims and determine coverage and liability.
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on the status of their claim.
- Evaluate and analyze complex claim information to make accurate decisions on coverage and settlement.
- Utilize company systems and tools to manage and document claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure consistent and effective claims handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating empathy, understanding, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud and suspicious claims to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and company policies to effectively handle claims.
- Adhere to company standards and procedures for claims handling and compliance.
- Handle a high volume of claims while meeting productivity and accuracy goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both in-person and through written and verbal communication.
