- Investigate and resolve auto claims for Travelers' policyholders.
- Uphold Travelers' commitment to protecting customers and providing peace of mind.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with policyholders, service providers, and other team members.
- Analyze claim information and determine coverage and liability.
- Review and interpret policy language to accurately determine coverage.
- Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including obtaining and evaluating relevant documents and statements.
- Document all activities and decisions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with policyholders and service providers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to auto insurance.

Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Insurance Or Business, Is Preferred. Additionally, Completion Of Relevant Training Programs, Such As The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (Cpcu) Designation, Is Highly Desirable.
Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Or Investigation Is Required For This Role. Previous Experience In Auto Claims Or Fraud Investigation Is Preferred. Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Laws And Regulations, And Investigative Techniques Is Also Important.
Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Patterns, And Make Sound Decisions Based On Evidence Is Crucial For A Successful Claim Representative, Auto Fpm Investigator. This Includes Strong Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Claim Representative, Auto Fpm Investigator, You Will Need To Communicate With A Variety Of Individuals, Including Policyholders, Witnesses, And Law Enforcement Officials. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Are Necessary For Effectively Gathering And Presenting Information.
