In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of large, complex accounts.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in order to grow and retain a portfolio of large, complex accounts.
  2. Utilize your knowledge of the insurance industry to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage and pricing for each account.
  3. Conduct thorough and accurate underwriting analysis, including reviewing and interpreting financial statements, loss history, and industry trends.
  4. Collaborate with other team members, such as sales representatives and claims adjusters, to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations on risk management strategies.
  6. Monitor and manage the performance of assigned accounts, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management as needed.
  8. Meet and exceed sales and retention goals through effective account management and business development strategies.
  9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and underwriting decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously strive for excellence in customer service, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in underwriting and account management.
  12. Comply with all regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall success of the team and company.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Sales Or Underwriting Role, Specifically In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On National Accounts.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field. Mba Or Other Relevant Certifications Are A Plus.

  • Strong Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Clients, Brokers, And Internal Teams.

  • Proven Track Record In Achieving Sales Targets And Maintaining Profitable Underwriting Results For National Accounts.

  • Thorough Understanding Of Insurance Products, Industry Trends, And Risk Management Strategies, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions.
