Job Description

As a key member of the Travelers team, the Account Executive Officer, Commercial Accounts plays a critical role in the commercial insurance sector. We are looking for a customer-oriented individual with outstanding communication and organizational skills to join our team. The successful candidate should have a strong focus on client relationships, an aptitude for problem solving, and a desire to exceed customer expectations.The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of insurance and risk management as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial insurance sector. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong customer service focus, and be highly computer literate. An undergraduate degree in finance, business or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop customer relationships and provide superior customer service.
  2. Utilize thorough knowledge of insurance and risk management to support clients’ needs.
  3. Monitor and analyze customer data to identify and anticipate customer needs.
  4. Consult with clients to determine their insurance and risk management needs.
  5. Develop and present proposals that meet customer needs and provide cost-effective solutions.
  6. Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  7. Negotiate and manage contracts with customers and vendors.
  8. Develop and implement strategies for expansion of customer base.
  9. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and legal updates.
  10. Utilize advanced computer literacy to effectively manage customer accounts.
