We at Travelers are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive Officer to join our Commercial Accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and successful organization that is helping to drive the insurance industry forward. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and will be able to effectively assess and manage risk while providing outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and create innovative solutions to complex problems. They will also be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and other stakeholders.The Account Executive Officer will have a thorough knowledge of the insurance industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A high degree of integrity, flexibility, and initiative are required. The successful candidate will have:• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field• 5+ years of progressive experience in the insurance industry, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing role• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills• An ability to work independently and as part of a team• A thorough knowledge of insurance regulations• Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills• An ability to interpret and explain complex policies and procedures• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsIf you have the qualifications and experience necessary to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  2. Assess and manage risk while providing outstanding customer service.
  3. Think strategically and create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  4. Interpret and explain complex policies and procedures.
  5. Negotiate and resolve potential disputes.
  6. Proficiently use Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  7. Stay abreast of developments within the insurance industry and maintain an up-to-date understanding of applicable regulations.
  8. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the team’s success.
  9. Prepare reports and documents related to accounts and customer service.
  10. Monitor customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
