Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Advisor, Corporate Affairs and Communications to join our team and help us communicate our brand story and mission.The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of developing and implementing integrated communications and public affairs strategies in a complex and fast-paced environment. They should demonstrate a strong understanding of public policy, media relations, and corporate communications and be comfortable working with executives and stakeholders.This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a complex, global, publicly traded organization. They should be a creative and persuasive communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have a passion for driving meaningful change.To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or public affairs• Expertise in corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, and digital/social media• Strong understanding of key public policy issues• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated campaigns• Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• High degree of business acumen, professionalism, and diplomacyIf you have the qualifications and passion to help TransUnion shape the narrative around our mission, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integrated communications and public affairs strategies in line with TransUnion’s mission • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, executives, and public policy makers • Create and execute campaigns to raise awareness and understanding of TransUnion’s brand story and mission • Develop content for press releases, media interviews, and other communications materials • Monitor the media landscape, research and track public policy, and stay up-to-date on current industry trends • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget • Provide strategic advice and counsel to executives on corporate communications, public affairs, and digital/social media matters • Leverage digital and social media platforms to promote TransUnion’s mission • Manage crisis communications and reputation management efforts as needed
