Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Advisor, Corporate Affairs and Communications to join our team at TransUnion. This dynamic role requires an individual with superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of achieving strategic goals while managing multiple projects simultaneously.The successful candidate will have an understanding of the importance of corporate communications, public relations, and reputation management. They will have the ability to think critically, develop creative solutions, and implement effective strategies that advance TransUnion’s overall business objectives. They will be able to work closely with the Chief Communications Officer and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of plans.The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, or reputation management. They must have a thorough understanding of the media landscape and the ability to develop effective relationships with the media and other important stakeholders. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable speaking in public. Finally, they must have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to promoting the mission and values of TransUnion.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute corporate communication, public relations, and reputation management strategies that support TransUnion’s business objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with the media and other important stakeholders.
  3. Create content for internal and external communications pieces, such as press releases, press kits, website content, and other materials.
  4. Monitor the media landscape to stay abreast of emerging trends and issues.
  5. Analyze and interpret data to provide strategic advice on communications and reputation management.
  6. Serve as a spokesperson for TransUnion by speaking at conferences and other public events.
  7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and other legal requirements.

Compensation
