In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to our business units on matters related to data privacy, information security, and cyber risk.   1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance on data privacy, information security, and cyber risk matters to all business units within the company.
  2. Stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information and cyber security and ensure compliance within the organization.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate cyber threats.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk management and mitigation strategies.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, compliance, and risk management, to ensure a comprehensive approach to information and cyber security.
  6. Advise on data breach response and incident management.
  7. Review and negotiate contracts and agreements related to information and cyber security.
  8. Provide training and education to employees on information and cyber security best practices.
  9. Serve as a liaison with external legal counsel and government agencies on information and cyber security matters.
  10. Proactively identify potential legal issues and provide strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
  11. Keep abreast of emerging cyber threats and advise on proactive measures to protect the company's information assets.
  12. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to information and cyber security matters.
  13. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior management, regarding information and cyber security risks and compliance.
  14. Mentor and train junior legal team members on information and cyber security laws and regulations.
  15. Uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all interactions and decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Attorney In The Field Of Information And Cyber Security.

  • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Information And Cyber Security, Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Hipaa.

  • Experience Providing Legal Counsel And Guidance To Senior Leadership On Complex Information And Cyber Security Issues.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Resolving Legal Disputes Related To Information And Cyber Security.
