Job Description

Welcome to TransUnion, a global leader in information and risk management solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our team in the Vulnerability Threat Management department. In this role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization and clients from potential cyber threats.   1. Conduct ongoing vulnerability assessments and scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our organization and client systems.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program, including policies, procedures, and tools.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  4. Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and industry trends to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  5. Lead and execute vulnerability management projects, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on vulnerability management best practices.
  7. Conduct regular risk assessments and analysis to identify potential impact of vulnerabilities on our organization and clients.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on vulnerability management efforts.
  9. Prepare and present reports to senior management and other relevant parties on the status of vulnerability management efforts and any emerging threats.
  10. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively mitigate and respond to any identified vulnerabilities or cyber threats.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of vulnerability management processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on vulnerability management and provide training and guidance to other team members as needed.
  13. Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security and ensure compliance within the Vulnerability Threat Management department.
  14. Act as a proactive and strategic advisor to the organization, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Vulnerability Management And Threat Mitigation Strategies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Vulnerability Assessments And Remediation Efforts.

  • Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Vulnerability Management, Such As Cvss Scoring And Common Vulnerability Enumeration (Cve).

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Providing Actionable Recommendations For Mitigating Potential Vulnerabilities.
