Job Description

At Trane Technologies, we are looking for a highly motivated and talented Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and sales support to our customers. You will have the opportunity to use your technical experience and knowledge to develop strong customer relationships and drive sales.The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in technical sales. A good understanding of HVAC systems and components is essential to this role. You must also possess excellent communication skills, be able to think on your feet, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. If you are passionate about building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and have the drive to succeed, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent technical and sales support.
  2. Analyze customer needs and recommend the best solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Utilize technical knowledge and experience to assist customers in understanding the technical aspects of Trane Technologies products and services.
  4. Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot customer issues.
  5. Develop and maintain product presentations and demonstrations.
  6. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  7. Monitor customer feedback and provide timely resolution to customer complaints.
  8. Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management.
  9. Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
