Sr Analyst, Indirect Procurement
At Tractor Supply Company, we're looking for a Sr Analyst, Indirect Procurement to join our team and take our procurement operations to the next level. We’re looking for a motivated team player with an eye for detail and the ability to think strategically. The Sr Analyst, Indirect Procurement will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s indirect procurement strategies, sourcing initiatives, and supplier relationships.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in indirect procurement. You should also have excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage indirect procurement strategies, sourcing initiatives, and supplier relationships
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost savings and favorable terms
- Analyze existing procurement processes and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor market trends and changes to ensure best-value solutions for the company
- Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement activities with corporate objectives
- Maintain up-to-date records of all procurement activities and transactions
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products and services
- Manage external audits of the procurement process and supplier performance
- Analyze supplier performance and develop strategies for improvement
