Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team as our Assistant Manager at Tractor Supply Company. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a commitment to customer service excellence and a dedication to helping our team reach their goals.In addition to a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for the job, the Assistant Manager should possess the following qualifications: excellent communication and leadership skills; the ability to effectively manage a team; a solid understanding of inventory and sales management; excellent organizational skills; and the ability to multitask. Responsibilites:

  1. Lead the team to reach goals by providing effective and clear direction.
  2. Develop staff to reach their full potential through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  3. Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels.
  4. Manage sales and oversee customer service operations.
  5. Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
  6. Handle employee relations matters, including dispute resolution.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  8. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for the team.
  9. Monitor the team’s performance and address any issues.
  10. Schedule and oversee staff shifts to ensure proper coverage.
