Job Description

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing Sales Orders for accuracy, creating Purchase Orders in a timely manner, and Fulfillment of all Software/Support/Virtual items. Partner with accounting and sales to resolve variances, identify system and process improvement opportunities. Responsible for the internal Item Setup process and coordinating with Sales to ensure proper classification of each item “attribute” – tax classification, practice area, type, etc. Review orders to assure that items/components are properly classified at time of purchase. Review orders for accuracy regarding shipping address, PO, shipping account information, price, etc. Process drop-ship and Inventory/Warehouse orders through ERP Platform (NetSuite) in a timely manner. Track all Virtual/Software line items and perform item fulfillment based on license key confirmations.

Job Qualifications

  • Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in purchasing, sales operations or logistics.

  • Experience in Operations; strong internal controls knowledge and experience with implementation of processes and procedures

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
