  1. Conduct thorough and accurate test drives of prototype and production vehicles according to established procedures and guidelines.
  2. Identify and document any issues, defects, or anomalies encountered during test drives.
  3. Analyze and evaluate vehicle performance, handling, and safety features while driving.
  4. Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements based on test drive experiences.
  5. Keep detailed records and logs of test drive data and observations.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on test vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition for testing.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating test vehicles.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor vehicles to provide insightful feedback and comparisons.
  9. Communicate and present test drive findings and results to team members and stakeholders.
  10. Continuously strive for improvement and innovation in the testing process.
  11. Represent the company and its brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all test drive information and materials.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record: As A Test Driver, The Candidate Must Have A Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record To Ensure Safe And Responsible Driving During Vehicle Testing.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Automotive Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Automotive Technology, Including Vehicle Mechanics, Electrical Systems, And Computerized Diagnostics, To Accurately Assess The Performance Of Vehicles During Testing.

  • Experience In Vehicle Testing And Evaluation: Prior Experience In Vehicle Testing And Evaluation Is A Must For This Position. This Includes Knowledge Of Testing Protocols, Data Collection, And Analysis Techniques.

  • Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking Skills: Test Driving Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Critical Thinking Skills. The Candidate Must Be Able To Identify And Analyze Potential Issues With The Vehicle's Performance And Provide Detailed Feedback To The Engineering Team.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Work In Challenging Conditions: Test Driving Can Involve Long Hours On The Road, Exposure To Extreme Weather Conditions, And Driving In Different Terrains. The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Withstand These Challenges To Ensure Accurate And Reliable Test Results.
