Staff Engineer

Support the Digital Products and Services department's objective to build a library of reusable software components that span across varied vertical business domains. Interface with the application development teams to understand current software development practices, application landscape, tools, and methodologies to develop a plan to drive improvement. Work with the portfolio architects to understand the current and the target state of their application portfolio. Develop methodologies to reduce technical debt, improve code quality, improve system reliability and resiliency objectives. Partner with Digital Platform engineering team to modernize full stack of software development including infrastructure design, implementation in a cloud-first environment. Keep up-to-date on programming languages, frameworks, standards, tools, and processes to drive efficiencies in time to market for new and unique business ideas.
