- Develop and implement winning race strategies for Toyota Motorsports, utilizing a combination of technical expertise and analytical thinking.
- Utilize data analysis and predictive modeling to inform race strategy decisions and make adjustments in real-time during races.
- Collaborate with team members and drivers to understand their input and incorporate it into race strategy plans.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in motorsports technology and use that knowledge to continuously improve race strategy tactics.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors and track conditions to anticipate potential challenges and develop effective counter-strategies.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and precision in all race strategy plans and execution.
- Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to race strategy.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and team members to develop their skills and knowledge in race strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate race strategy performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Represent Toyota Motorsports and its commitment to excellence in the racing community by upholding professional and ethical standards at all times.
Extensive Experience In Motorsports: A Sr. Engineer, Race Strategy At Toyota Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Motorsports Industry, With A Deep Understanding Of Various Racing Formats, Rules, And Regulations. This Experience Should Also Include Expertise In Developing And Executing Race Strategies For Different Types Of Races.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Analytical Skills To Analyze Data, Track Performance, And Make Strategic Decisions. A Sr. Engineer, Race Strategy Should Be Proficient In Using Software And Tools To Analyze Data And Provide Insights To Improve Race Performance.
Technical Knowledge: A Sr. Engineer, Race Strategy Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Automotive Engineering. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Vehicle Dynamics, Aerodynamics, And Powertrain Systems To Make Informed Decisions That Impact Race Strategy.
