  1. Conduct research and experiments to develop new and innovative technologies and products for the automotive industry.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize R&D projects and initiatives.
  3. Analyze data and results to draw conclusions and make recommendations for future developments.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate them into R&D strategies.
  5. Design and implement experiments and testing protocols to evaluate performance and functionality of new products.
  6. Develop and maintain accurate records of research and experiments.
  7. Present findings and progress reports to key stakeholders and management.
  8. Collaborate with external partners, such as universities and research institutions, to leverage their expertise and resources.
  9. Participate in project planning and budgeting processes.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and optimization in R&D processes and procedures.
  11. Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards in all research activities.
  12. Mentor and train junior R&D team members.
  13. Represent Toyota at industry conferences and events to showcase R&D achievements.
  14. Contribute to the creation and protection of intellectual property through patent applications and other means.
  15. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the R&D team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Or Computer Science.

  • Strong Background In Research Methodology And Data Analysis.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Innovative Solutions In The Automotive Industry, With A Focus On Efficiency And Sustainability.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Research And Development Role, Preferably In The Automotive Field.
