Powertrain Engineer
Plan and implement production preparation strategy to achieve safety, quality and cost targets including, schedule development, process planning, equipment planning, installation and confirmation trials for machining powertrain components and/or powertrain assembly. Provide technical assistance to plant production, maintenance and engineering groups. Organize and guide cross functional activity including completing problem solving with minimal assistance from management. Visualize activity plan, and schedule to facilitate quick consensus building and secure necessary aid of key activity.
Powertrain and/or Engine manufacturing experience or equivalent experience in a machine shop
Experience in process engineering, including long and short term schedule and budget management
Experience with planning and support for mass production lines greater than 9,000-unit capacity per month
