Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is focused on strategic research and consultation (competitive and marketplace intelligence and trends analysis) in support of developing and implementing business strategies. This role produces insights and intelligence on the external environment to share with internal stakeholders through consultative interactions to help drive strategic decision-making in our organization. Designing and executing approaches to deliver relevant intelligence using a variety of resources, tools, and techniques. Directly supervise and manage the Strategic Research Sr. Analyst and indirectly coach and mentor other analysts and resources in the department as warranted.

Job Qualifications

  • Professional work experience and managing direct reports.

  • Familiarity working with research vendors and platforms (Gartner, IHS, Quid, etc.).

  • Familiarity working with contracting systems (Ariba, etc.).

  • Proficiency in using data and analytics tools (M-tab, Tableau, etc.).

  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and business partners regarding budget portfolio forecasting and optimization
