  1. Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize the transportation of goods and materials across our global supply chain.
  2. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, carriers, and internal departments, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  3. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, including tracking information, delivery status, and any issues or delays.
  5. Identify and resolve any transportation-related issues or delays, working closely with all stakeholders to find effective solutions.
  6. Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient transportation services.
  7. Continuously analyze and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and improve logistics operations.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols for the transportation of goods.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of shipments and logistics operations.
  11. Train and mentor junior logistics team members to ensure a strong and capable team.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and inventory management, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of supply chain activities.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of new logistics initiatives and projects.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner during interactions with vendors, carriers, and other external partners.
  15. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all logistics activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Global Logistics Operations, Preferably In The Automotive Industry

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations, Customs Procedures, And Export/Import Documentation

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Tms

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Suppliers, Carriers, And Internal Teams.
