Commercial Development & Lending Officer

The Commercial Development & Lending Officer (CDLO) will be responsible for managing and growing profitable commercial lending relationships through active networking and cold calling. Responsible for generating and underwriting new commercial loans, management of on-going relationships, and service of existing portfolio. Interview prospective applicants; prepare and present proposed deal structures; conduct site visits; collect financial conditions; prepare loan write-ups. Source new commercial loan business by developing and fostering relationships. Identify new opportunities to generate business. Conduct sales calls to dealerships, suppliers and business partners. Focus on relationship management with existing client base to ensure high levels of customer retention, repeat and referral business. Negotiate and process renewals of credit facilities. Understanding of commercial underwriting standards and requirements. Meet established sales objectives in the hundreds of millions dollar loan amounts. Manage a large region of approximately 1,000 dealerships
