Job Description

TJX Companies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team and lead one of our retail locations. As the Store Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales, managing operations, and creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for someone with a strong retail background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. If you are a natural leader with a strong business acumen, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail location, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
  3. Create a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers by ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  4. Motivate and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching as needed.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate action.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
  8. Manage and maintain store budgets, including labor and expenses, to achieve financial objectives.
  9. Conduct regular store audits to ensure visual merchandising standards are met and inventory accuracy is maintained.
  10. Collaborate with other Store Managers and company leadership to share best practices and drive company-wide initiatives.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  12. Communicate effectively with corporate headquarters and other departments to provide updates, share successes, and address any issues or concerns.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where all team members feel valued, respected, and supported.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Represent the company and its values in a professional and positive manner at all times.

  • Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Store Environment.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Responsibilities.
