1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
2. Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions, utilizing knowledge of store layout and merchandise.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the brand.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the products sold in the store, including features, benefits, and pricing information, in order to effectively communicate with customers.
5. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and gift card payments.
6. Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.
7. Keep up-to-date with current sales, promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate information to customers.
8. Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals, actively seeking out opportunities to increase sales and add-on purchases.
9. Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
10. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, policies, and procedures.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the TJX brand and values to customers and fellow team members.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention measures.
13. Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and customer service skills through self-evaluation and feedback from management.
14. Collaborate with team members and management to create a positive and productive work environment.
15. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including cash handling and store cleaning and maintenance.
