1. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise to stores.
2. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking and replenishment based on sales trends and customer demand.
3. Collaborate with store managers to determine the most effective product placement and displays to maximize sales.
4. Conduct regular store visits to evaluate visual merchandising and ensure compliance with company standards.
5. Analyze sales data and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing merchandise mix and pricing.
6. Act as a liaison between the buying team and store associates, providing updates on new merchandise and promotions.
7. Assist in the planning and execution of store events and promotions.
8. Maintain accurate records of merchandise inventory and transfers between stores.
9. Train and mentor store associates on merchandising best practices and company policies.
10. Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform merchandise decisions.
11. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing displays and signage.
12. Communicate any issues or concerns with inventory or merchandising to appropriate team members for resolution.
13. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management and visual merchandising.
14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new merchandising strategies and initiatives.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to vendors, store associates, and customers.
